Arriving to Alona

From: Tagbilaran Airport
Hire a taxi, don’t negotiate ask them to use the meter.
Hire a tricycle to Alona for 200-250 Php depending on the amount of luggage and people.
Hire a tricycle to ICM mall for 50 Php. From infront of ICM mall jump on to a jeepney and ride to Alona for 25 Php. Caution* Jeepneys tend to look like sardine cans.

Hire a tricycle to Alona for 200-300 Php depending on the amount of luggage.
Jump on to a jeepney from infront of the main entrance to Alona for 25 Php.
Caution* Jeepneys tend to look like sardine cans.

From: Cebu

A boat ticket costs from 500 Php to 1000 Php, depending the class you travel in and the boat company you choose. They also charge a fee of around 50 Php per a big backbag. The tickets can be bought at the Pier in Cebu. The boats leave everyday every 2 hours, starting at sunrise and stopping at sunset. The ride takes 2- 2,5 hours.

You can also fly from Cebu to Tagbilaran.

From: Manila

Fly from Ninoy Aquino Airport Terminal 4 (Domestic Terminal) to Tagbilaran or to Cebu. Cheapest flight are operated by Airasia. Philippine airlines and Cebu Pacific have sometimes cheap promos also. A promo ticket cost around 1,700 Php to 2,400 Php.

From: Boracay

Fly from Caticlan or Kalibo to Tagbilaran or Cebu.
Take a bus to Iloilo taking 6 hours, and then take a ferry to Cebu taking around 12 hours.

From: Palawan, Puerto Princesa

Fly from Puerto Princesa to Tagbilaran or Cebu.
Catch a ferry from Puerto Princesa to Iloilo, taking 12-12 hours via Cujo island famous for its kitesurfing. Goes twice per week. And then take another ferry from Iloilo to Cebu taking around 12 hours.

From: Puerto Galera

Fly from Manila. To go to Manila: take a boat to Batangas costing a little less than 200 Php and taking 2 hours. From Batangas, infront of the Pier take a bus to Manila to Taft Avenue costing 160 Php and taking 2-2.5 hours. From Taft Avenue ride a metered taxi to terminal 4, costing around 140 Php.
