Chocolate Hills

The Chocolate Hills are considered one of Philippines natural wonders and Bohol is often referred to as the Jewel of the Philippines. They are hills made of limestone leftover from coral reefs during the Ice age when the island was submerged. There are more than 1,200 cone-shaped hills. They turn brown during the summer, hence their name. The Chocolate Hills are located near Carmen.

Tarsier , the smallest primate in the world, is indigenous to the island.

Butterfly farm

Visit the butterfly farm. It’s on the way to the Chocolate hills.

There is a local exotic zoo close by to the Chocolate hills. They have two massive pythons on show, some weird birds and the zookeepers dress up like the original people from Bohol.
